Is my client data actually secure?
Yes. The Pro tier runs on self-hosted infrastructure—a dedicated server provisioned for your practice, not a shared consumer platform. Session audio is processed by AssemblyAI under a signed BAA and discarded after transcription. Notes are delivered directly to your email and are not stored by us. Nothing sits on our servers. The Starter tier never sends any data anywhere—everything runs on your local Mac.
What does the $99/month cover?
Managed infrastructure for your practice: a dedicated cloud server, all workflow software licenses, API costs for transcription and AI, and ongoing maintenance. We handle updates, monitoring, and any configuration changes so it keeps running without your involvement. At $99/month against 5+ hours recovered per week, most therapists pay for the subscription in the first two sessions it saves.
Does Starter work on my Mac?
It requires macOS 12 (Monterey) or later and at least 8 GB of RAM. Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2, M3) give the best experience—a 10-minute session note is ready in about 3 minutes. Intel Macs work, but processing takes roughly 2–3× longer (expect 7–10 minutes per 10-minute session). If your machine is older or has lower specs, Pro’s cloud-based transcription will outperform local Whisper regardless of your hardware.
Can I cancel the monthly plan?
Yes—month-to-month, no contract. Cancel anytime and your workflows stop at the end of that billing period. If you choose annual pricing ($990/yr), you’re billed for the full year upfront and we’ll prorate a refund if you cancel before the year is up. You keep all note templates and workflow configurations—they’re yours.
